Fall Protection

Each year, many workers in the United States are injured or killed as a result of falls in the workplace. Falls are usually complex events that involve a variety of factors. This training covers systems and procedures designed to prevent falls off, onto or through working levels and to protect workers from being struck by falling objects. This course looks at the protective controls for personnel working at elevated heights to prevent or minimize injury or death resulting from falls. In this course, we will identify common fall hazards at offshore facilities and describe safe work practices.

This course deals with Fall Protection in relation to personnel safety. We will describe the different roles and responsibilities when working at heights. We’ll discuss common hazards and the protective controls for personnel working at heights.
